Reconstruction Using Surface Dedicated Tensorial Fields

چکیده
We propose in this paper a new strategy to estimate surface normals from sparse data for reconstruction. Our approach is based on tensorial fields morphologically adapted to infer normals forming smooth surfaces. They act as three-dimensional structuring elements in the reconstruction step. An enhanced accumulation process for finding precise normals is also proposed. We present several results to show the efficiency of our method.

Twistorial Superparticle with Tensorial Central Charges
A twistorial formulation of the N = 1 D = 4 superparticle with tensorial central charges describing massive and massless cases in uniform manner is given. The twistors resolve energy-momentum vector whereas the tensorial central charges are written in term of spinor Lorentz harmonics. The model makes possible to describe states preserving all allowed fractions of target-space supersymmetry. The...
متن کامل3D Reconstruction Using Cubic Bezier Spline Curves and Active Contours (Case Study)
Introduction 3D reconstruction of an object from its 2D cross-sections (slices) has many applications in different fields of sciences such as medical physics and biomedical engineering. In order to perform 3D reconstruction, at first, desired boundaries at each slice are detected and then using a correspondence between points of successive slices surface of desired object is reconstructed. Mate...
متن کاملTensorial Orientation Scores
Orientation scores [7, 10] are representations of images built using filters that only select on orientation (and not on the magnitude of the frequency). Importantly, they allow (easy) reconstruction, making them ideal for use in a filtering pipeline. Traditionally a specific set of orientations has to be chosen, and the response is determined for those orientations. This work introduces an alt...
متن کاملModel-based EEG and MEG Source Reconstruction Methods
Neurophysiological activity, as measured with EEG or MEG, has its origin in the brain. For most EEG and MEG experiments it is known beforehand, that the folded gray matter of the cortex is the location of the neurons whose activity is measured. These neurons, the pyramidal cells, are oriented perpendicular to the cortical surface. Triangulation of the segmented cortical surface yields a triangl...
متن کاملFiltering Sparse Data with 3D Tensorial Structuring Elements
Abstract. We address in this paper the problem of filtering three-dimensional sparse data representing real objects. The main application is to eliminate points that are not structured on surfaces. Points classified as organized can be the input for other processes. An accumulation process infers the organization of each input element. The tensorial fields used in our method act as three-dimens...
